We got excellent value for our money at Eco Stay! The room was comfortable with a cozy reading light, and the location was convenient, close to an Auto Mercado grocery store. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing a SIM card and ensuring we had secured parking for peace of mind.
The breakfast selection could have been more varied.

I stayed at Eco Stay in San Jose for one night before my transfer. The hostel is clean, cute, and has lovely staff. The common areas are nice and the breakfast of waffles and fresh fruit is amazing. The location near Barrio Escalante, with its great cafes, restaurants, and bars, is perfect. The private room was spacious and the WiFi worked well. The eco-friendly aspect is a big plus. I would definitely stay here again.
Totally recommend this hotel.
